Hi friends! Hopping on to share a great !
The new year is just a few days away… Well, we’re not sure about you, we know that we are definitely thinking of some ideas for our New Year’s resolutions in 2026 to become even happier, healthier, and more grounded versions of ourselves.
But… Let’s address the elephant in the room! Sometimes, it can be really difficult to follow through on New Year’s resolutions, which is why we wanted to share this awesome article from psychology today, The Psychology Behind New Year’s Resolutions That Work. In this article, Dr. Alós-Ferrer, a professor at Lancaster University, discusses the psychology behind creating and setting meaningful, achievable goals.
Essentially, Dr. Alós-Ferrer shares that to increase your success, create goals using the S.M.A.R.T. Goal framework — meaning that your goals should be specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-related. He also discusses how to use intentions to trick your impulse system into building new habits, and how to ensure that your environment (home, office, bedroom, etc.) are more conducive to success.
