Born in Corpus Christi, TX, her grandmother and mother were hairdressers, making her the third generation that specializes in Hair Augmentation in her family. Josette has over 20 years of experience in (non-surgical) Hair Replacement and Hair Extensions. Licensed at age 18 with Hot Comb in one hand, and luggage in the other; Josette set her sights for California to earn her Cosmetology license and began her remarkable educational journey gathering skills from celebrity stylist such as Terry Hunt, Kim Kimble, Doris Mosley, and Elgin Charles to name a few. With the educational background Josette has acquired internationally, she gained the ability to work on people of all nationalities with different hair types, including those with special medical conditions such as Alopecia, or people with fine or thinning hair. After working in a variety of salons, Josette had higher goals for herself. She opened California Hair Extensions in 2007 in the city of Poway, CA. Pole Weaving, Hair Locks, Hot-Heads, Hair Dreams, Brazilian Hair Knots, Sew- Weaves, and California Hair Fusion are just some of the specialties offered at her salon. Now setting her sites on opening her Hair Academy, Josette's motto is "Take Your Passion and Make It Happen"! Josette has proven herself to be a self-motivator with endless energy.
