What makes you feel good?

I feel good when I am ________.

Not gonna lie It feels vulnerable to share my thoughts on paper. Why do we have shame in sharing what we love? Why do we have fear we will be judged or questioned. I hope in sharing, I am holding space for you to come a little closer to asking for what you need and making time for what makes your feel good. Without shame or feeling selfish. I am committed to trading all mom guilt to needed self interest.

Make this weekend All about the F word!

I know where your head went. That’s a good word too. Now is all about the f is for fun!

What do you miss doing that makes you laugh and feel good?

I found this on a vision board from last year. I needed the “have fun” reminder too. I wanted to share the love with you.

Carve time this weekend and schedule in what lights you up because you deserve it.

Connection with you lights me up.

A middle school gym. Simple yet magical to hold space for a meditation and movement workshop of “what’s possible when you love your body?”

While this was in 2017, collaboration with
and (she is one of those people you want to keeping talking to 💗) still fuels up me.

I am most alive when empowering and sharing tools with all ages and genders to discover new ways to arrive at home in your body.

It’s not just about loving your body.

It’s listening, learning, connecting, leaning, trusting, accepting, observing, and choosing your body as it is and as it is not.

There is nothing to get, fit into, fix, or change. It’s a bold move without a 6 month transformation photo.

Sharing a Monday reminder with you: Everything you need is inside you all for the moments this week.

On this earth to take up space unapologetically.

You are here to expand.

I used to think smaller is better. We are told to be quieter starting at a young age. I remember my mom saying she was told as a child to be seen and not heard. We internalize in order to belong we need to fit in.

Yet we all desire and deserve to BE seen and heard.

What if we shift and desire to stand up and stand out instead of play small and slim down?

To start I would tell my younger self. (And continue to remind daily)

#1 No more apologizing for the shape your body creates, the energy you bring into a space, and the words you share.

#2 You are desired as you are. You are enough. Everything you need is inside you.

Today feel all four corners of your feet, let your hair go wild, spread your fingers wide, life your chest, release your shoulders down and back and allow yourself to own it - in a playing big for the Sunday game day way! There is nothing to change or fix.

You don’t need a reason, an achievement, completion of all the things on your to do list, perfect family pictures, toddler who always eats vegetables, prebaby jeans to fit, positive pregnancy test, workout everyday, no sugar meal plan, Pinterest Valentine’s Day cards, or pedicure toes...

For years I thought I needed all the things to show up and be me.

Yes, You better believe it! When you get the premade target vday cards and take an extra rest day or two - you are amazing!

Everything you inside you is already amazing.

Soften.

Don’t rush the process.

When I started in an accelerated nursing program, a wise friend told me anyone can do the program in a year but no one can do it in a day.

I take this with me every week. You can do it, but you can’t do it all today.

Less rabbit brain. Mind racing. Rushing and pushing to get it all right, right now. 🙋🏻‍♀️ anyone else a motivated multitasker or nothing?! Left feeling like your heart is racing in fight and flight...

More slow is the way to go. Heart led baby steps. trust the process. Let go of trying and ease into softening. Feel the transition. Rest and digest.

The whole (ups, downs, in betweens) is the goal.

What does it feel like when you turn up the whispers in your heart

and

start to turn down, dissolve, and mute projections and comparisons with others about what and how you should eat, wear, think, believe, buy, exercise, and feel?

You start to listen, hear, feel, and believe what you need and want without the quick fixes and must haves.

I have heard them all.... on replay blasting from all directions.
“how are you working out to fit your wedding dress?”
“Don’t eat ____, to look like _____.
“Do _____ to get your pre baby body back”
“I need to give up ______ to look like her”
“Only if I exercise, I can eat the ______”
“I have to be good before vacation”

So much noise in our heads, that takes us out of our bodies. Our bodies want us to move, enjoy, and feel good like we are on vacation every damn day. Our heads need a breather.

What if we don’t want to change or fix and anything? What if we want to arrive in the moment and be here?

I say hellllllll yessssssss. There is nothing to go back to

When you arrive and trust that everything you need is inside you, your mind and body start to thrive.

You are right on time. I want to be that person that helps you navigate back home with less noise and more internal trust that you have a right to thrive.

Here to remind you: You belong in your body. Your body wants you as you are and as you are not.
