In honor of National Physical Therapy Day, we would like to take a moment to recognize an important member of our therapy team, Ty! 😆💚

Ty has been with TBC for 10 months now. Her role as a PT in this setting focuses on improving the motor skills, strength, balance, endurance, & coordination of infants, children, & adolescents. She is intelligent, kind, & goes above & beyond for each of her clients through advocacy, education, & fun treatment sessions! We are so thankful for her! ✨

Another student spotlight! 🤩💛

Sam finished her level IIB fieldwork rotation with us a few weeks ago. We are so proud of her & all her hard work! Sam currently attends UAB for Occupational Therapy & she says her favorite thing about TBC is “how all the therapists function as a family, always supporting each other in any way. They are always so welcoming and willing to share ideas and lend a helping hand when needed.”

For Sam’s service project she created a homemade game to target motor planning, executive functioning, visual motor integration, & more!

Student spotlight! ⭐️🩷
Anslee is an Occupational Therapy student at ASU and just finished her first 12 week rotation with us.

Anslee says her favorite thing about TBC was “getting to know and work with occupational, physical, and speech therapists. Everyone is so encouraging and helpful, and I’ve learned so much from my rotation here. An additional thank you to my amazing CI, Kendall! I couldn’t imagine going through this rotation without her guidance and support! Being at The Bailey Center was such a blessing, and I’m so thankful that I got the opportunity to do my first rotation there!”

For Anslee’s service project, she created an informational handout on the stages of play. We are so proud of her & will miss her!

Master’s Degree: LOADING…

Today we celebrate Ms. Chyna Terry, B.S., SLP-A, on her last day with us at The Bailey Center in Prattville. Chyna has been such a special part of our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, she’s brought professionalism, dedication, and care into every single session. Her big heart shines through in everything she does, and the love she has for the kids and families she works with has not gone unnoticed. She leaves each session having made a difference — and with just as many smiles as she gives.

This fall, she will begin the next exciting chapter of her career as she enters Faulkner University’s Master’s program in Speech-Language Pathology, with the goal of becoming a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. The two-year program will bring her one step closer to achieving her dream.

This is not a goodbye—just a “see you soon.” We are so proud of you, Chyna, and can’t wait to see all that you will accomplish!

Please join us in celebrating the newest addition to The Bailey Center’s baby crew! Our wonderful Speech Therapist Lead, Amanda Tippins, welcomed her second baby girl into the world this past Friday. Both mom and baby are doing well! Amanda sends her heartfelt thanks to all the families who showed such kindness and support throughout her pregnancy — your encouragement meant the world.
