Over time when the body starts to progress based on compensations the body and central nervous system begins to perceive a New Normal which may form both a postural and dynamic deviation. This can cause gait issues and other challenges.
We love to bring awareness to our clients as to where their alignment is off and how they can get back into balance.
Exercise: Asssisted Runners Stretch
1s Photo: Client feels that position 1 is straight. When she came in she had a strong right rotation affecting her gait.
2nd photo: Client begins to rebalance her pelvis based on postural alignment and cueing after a customized sequence was provided
Then strengthened and trained up on pilates reformer. Know your compensations and deviations and make a longer lasting change!
