On Saturday we visited Hidden Spring Lavendar and Alpaca Farm! The alpacas were so friendly and adorable, and we enjoyed our time browsing the gift shop as well! 🦙💕

As part of National Assisted Living Week, our residents helped us celebrate by pulling raffle tickets with staff names on them. 🎟️ Each lucky winner received a prize, a fun way to honor and thank our amazing team for everything they do every day! 💙

🎭 Today, our community was treated to something truly special! Resident Susan Birkenhead—Tony Award–nominated Broadway lyricist—gave a presentation titled “From the Page to the Stage: The Birth of a Broadway Show.”

She shared her insights into the incredible process of bringing a show to life—what it takes to make a production successful and the teamwork behind the curtain.

Before her talk, fellow resident Pat gave a warm introduction highlighting Susan’s remarkable career. So many residents came out to support their neighbor and were inspired by her journey. It was wonderful to see the room filled with pride, curiosity, and applause for one of our own! 🌟

We enjoyed another lovely day outdoors by taking a great afternoon walk and then spent some time on the patio near the koi pond. 🐟🌞

Our annual Art Gala showcased the amazing talent of our residents. Each piece, whether a quilt, painting, sculpture or diorama, was displayed with the artist’s biography. Residents and families enjoyed refreshments and had a wonderful time celebrating the creativity of our community. 🎨🍇
