The Mobile Food Pantry, established 3 years ago, picks up and delivers food to families and individuals affected by HIV/AIDS.
The Food Distribution Center, opened in the fall of 2011, is an expansion of the Mobile Food Pantry. Case managers come and pick up food to give to their clients. The center allows case managers the same shopping experience that they would enjoy in a food warehouse. They are able to shop, stress free, and pick the products that their clients need.
The Marketplace will pick up where the Food Distribution Center leaves off. It will be a 'cash register free' grocery store, where clients will come in for their weekly shop. The Marketplace will offer a wider selection of meats, dairy, grains and non-perishables. Keep checking back for updates about our Marketplace!
The Monkey See, Monkey Do Backpack Program will remove the "monkey of malnutrition" from the backs of over 100 children, who face hunger on a daily basis. These children will be able to take their backpacks home for the weekend, and will include single serving foods such as cereal, shelf stable milk, drinks, seasonal fresh fruit and snacks.
