Thank you so much for all of the love on my last post. I truly didn’t expect to open up the way I did, and your messages have meant more to me than I can explain šŸ¤

I wanted to share a little more of him.

The first photos are how I’ll always choose to remember my dad, full of life, happy, and just…him. The second half shows more of what he went through during his battle.

When he passed, we handed out cards at his funeral that encouraged people to do an act of kindness for someone else. That was my dad, always thinking of others, always giving, always kind.

So if you feel up to it today, do something kind for someone in his honor. Something small, something simple. I think he would’ve really loved that.

Again, thank you for being here and for letting me share him with you šŸ¤

Seven years ago today, I lost my dad to an aggressive case of squamous cell carcinoma - also known as oral cancer.

For a long time, I couldn’t really talk about it. It felt too heavy, too complicated, and honestly just really hard to put into words. But recently, something shifted, and I’ve found myself wanting to share more about him and what he went through.

So I made this video.

It’s eight minutes long and tells the story of his diagnosis, his fight, and everything in between. I originally made it for TikTok, but it felt important to share it here too.

If you take the time to watch, it truly means a lot and if you’re able to hug your dad today or just tell him what he means to you, please do that in honor of mine šŸ¤

As promised, a deeper look into ’s dreamy baby shower from this time last year šŸ¤

What you don’t always see is just how many hands it takes to bring something like this to life. Every single vendor you see here didn’t show up solo, each one came with a team. Some were small crews, others were dozens deep, and altogether it was truly an all hands on deck kind of day.

Because this was a brunch event, our timeline was tight. Everything needed to be styled, installed, and photo ready by mid morning, which meant an early start for everyone involved. We’re talking pre-sunrise arrivals, unloading trucks in the dark, and moving with intention from the very first minute.

There’s a level of coordination that happens behind the scenes at events like this that you can’t always put into words, teams working simultaneously, trusting each other, staying in sync, and making real time adjustments to bring the full vision together.

Every extra set of hands mattered. It was fast paced, high pressure, and so incredibly collaborative, and seeing it all come together the way it did is something I’ll never forget.

Bopping between events with a quick gas station outfit change is honestly my kind of fun šŸ˜ two completely different vibes, both filled with the most incredible details and even better people.

Got to reconnect with old friends and meet some new ones too, including a few vendors who shared they’ve been following along for years and recently started their own businesses. Such a full circle moment in the best, most rewarding way šŸ¤

Huge thank you to + for creating space for all of us to connect before the season really takes off.

For those who asked about outfits…details below!

Blue striped dress:
It’s actually a maternity dress (not pregnant, just knew I’d wear it again and it’s SO comfy). Runs big, I’m in an XXL and would’ve preferred the XL. Side note: something I truly never thought I’d say 🄰

Navy Sparkle jumpsuit:
Wearing a 20, but would size down to an 18, I was pulling it up a bit. It does come with optional straps I definitely could’ve used. Fully lined though, so not scratchy at all and so fun!

White lace jacket: 2 and loved it, as always! Torrid has always been my go to at every size.

Framed in clear acrylic, this welcome sign at made its statement without taking away from the view, letting the garden peek through while still setting the tone the moment guests arrived.

At this time last year, we were in the final stages of prepping for + ’s baby shower, so this week, I’m taking you along for a closer look at everything that went into it.

Starting with a deeper behind-the-scenes look at the work behind , the printing, assembly, and mailing of their invitations. Featuring custom artwork by and double thick, letterpressed and die cut details, it’s a forever favorite.

While we had the honor of creating some details for their engagement party and wedding, nothing compared to the scale of the baby shower. It was the first time we were able to fully bring an immersive experience to life in this way and honestly, it changed so much for us and SB.

With so many eyes on the shower, being featured in , and collaborating with an incredible vendor team… it’s something I’ll forever be proud of. šŸ¤

Cocktail hour, but make it a moment šŸŠšŸŒŗāœØ

Bold sunset hues, signature sips, and just enough sparkle to set the tone for the night ahead. This is where the energy shifts, guests mingling, drinks flowing, and every detail working overtime.

Birthday spent exactly how I needed it šŸ¤

Our first day out after getting hit HARD with flu B (truly forgot what fresh air felt like šŸ˜…) and Newport delivered.

First things first: .ri for the drive then we rented a little zoom zoom from , grabbed raclette sandwiches from + a cookie butter latte (and a pizza bagel because priorities) from , and ate by the water while the kids ran around.

Playgrounds, a little shopping, and then when our ride was due back… we rented the cutest bright yellow moke from . Tell me this wouldn’t be the most fun wedding photo op or getaway car?! I’m already picturing it decked out šŸ’

We cruised around, ended the night watching the sunset over Goat Island with .

A perfect day šŸ«¶šŸ»

From the very first impression to the final toast, every detail of this day was rooted in something deeply personal šŸ¤

We designed a custom crest for C + K that became the thread tying everything together, first introduced in their invitations and thoughtfully carried throughout the entire celebration. From hand fans and drink stirrers to edible cocktail toppers, napkins, welcome bag tags, the champagne wall, bar details, and beyond… every touchpoint felt intentional, layered, and uniquely theirs.

It’s always the goal: to create a design language that doesn’t just look beautiful, but tells a story from beginning to end.
