Four years ago, I started over in my career and, let’s say, in life. After my demanding corporate career of 15 years came to a halt, my physical health was once again in dire need of nourishment, and my personal life had me emotionally and mentally drained; I was in desperate need of change.

I needed to give to myself, so I returned to school and embarked on Holistic Health and healing through nutrition, movement, and mindfulness.

As I reflect on my journey through years of learning and teaching others, I am filled with awe. When I began this new path, my intention was to work as a Health Coach in a Functional Medicine Clinic focused on root-cause health to help people heal (at the time, there wasn’t a clinic near me)—and now I am doing just that. I also envisioned a facility that offered various healing modalities, such as yoga, sound therapy, health and wellness classes, workshops, and breathwork. Interestingly, someone else shared a similar vision and created a space for our community.

This place is . I am grateful for the opportunity to work with a clinic that seeks to identify root causes and provides an environment that supports each individual’s health journey through nutrition, movement, and mindfulness. It is a center that educates and encourages lifestyle changes, one with a deep passion for helping people feel better and heal.

I am posting this Hormone/Immune supportive Brazil nut/Pumpkin seed Mylk to my page after so much response to it in my stories. Now, it has a home for you to save and refer back to!

Make:
Soak (4 hours to overnight) 1/2 C each of Brazil nuts and Pumpkin seeds
Strain and rinse the nut/seed mix
Add the following to a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes:
Nuts/Seeds
4 C water
2 pitted dates
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

Strain pulp out and add Mylk to a glass container. Store in the fridge for 5-7 days.

Pumpkin seeds contain zinc, providing immune support and estrogen/progesterone balance.

Brazil nuts are high in Selenium, offering support to the thyroid.
