A good day with some lousy Cooties! Puxico and Bloomfield nursing homes. We visited 10 veterans today including one of our own Post 7822 members. After our Scratch, we enjoyed a great lunch at Casa Lopez!

A hearty thank you to the members of the Post and Auxiliary for a very successful year. We have a renovated goat shack, new ice freezers, and improvements to the Post Hall in the plans. Membership was, and is, successful, AND ongoing! The Post is sitting at over 110 % in membership and is in 5th place nationwide in National Division 7! The Post earned All State and All American honors two consecutive years, and look at making it 3 in a row!. Here's to a very happy and successful new year to all!

Russell O'Neal, an old friend and a member of Puxico high school class of 1964, passed on 28 December. He was a veteran of the U S Army. Rest in Peace.

Christmas 2025. Post Chaplain Wally delivered Christmas stockings along with board games and blankets, from the Wake Foundation, to the St James Veterans Home. The red tactical stocking is the type given to each veteran, in branch colors. We had OD, blue, black, tan, and camo. About 1700 stockings were filled with Christmas gifts, for the State Veterans Homes, and other private nursing homes.
