If you or someone you know has children, this is a fantastic and super important event to attend. On April 17, Souderton Area High School will host a community event held by the Indian Valley Character Counts! Coalition, inviting parents, grandparents and students to spread awareness about substance abuse and kids. Notable, a "mock bedroom scene" will be staged and attendees will be invited to see if they can point out the dozens of potential triggers and red flags that a child or teen is abusing alcohol, illegal or prescription drugs. Justina McIntyre lost her teenaged son because of drug abuse and shares her story in hopes to prevent others from enduring her same pain. Your children are never too young or old to be affected and afflicted by this community epidemic.
