A Sound Bath Experience

A Sound Bath Experience Providing sound baths to the high desert of California, L.A., and Ventura County since 2017.

Singing bowls have been in use for meditation practices dating back to the 10th-12th centuries. Quartz Crystal is used to make the crystal singing bowls, the same crystal that is used to hold, transmit and receive thought forms in the memory “mother board” of computers or watches. When tuned to the frequency of the chakras, C, D, E, F, G, A and B, the pure tone of the crystal bowls produce a vibra

tional sound that tunes the chakras of the body, Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye and Crown. These sound waves are equivalent to the alpha waves produced by the brain. A crystal quartz sound bath integrates the balance of our own electromagnetic energies and tunes all of the chakras. Enjoy the gentle sounds of the crystal singing bowls as they correct blockages and imbalances. We invite you to bring bottles of water to tune and charge, as well. Water holds the vibrational frequency and this can be used long after the sound bath to keep the chakras in tune.

Happening tomorrow!

Please join sound artists Jean Monte and Moriah Gross for an evening of good vibrations and relaxation at the AV Community Art Gallery!

What is a sound bath? A sound bath is an opportunity to press pause on the stresses of daily life and take time for yourself. A sound bath is a 90 minute experience to relax and be immersed in a unique soundscape that can help to cultivate a sense of peace, wellbeing, and meditation.

What kind of instruments will be played? Singing bowls, swinging chimes, ocean drums, gongs, rattles, and didgeridoos are some of the instruments we’ll be playing for your relaxation enjoyment.

What should I bring? While chairs will be available, one of the best ways to experience a sound bath is lying down. We suggest bringing yoga mats, blankets, pillows, and wearing comfortable clothing.

What does it cost? Donations accepted.

Where?

AV Community Art Gallery
38198 10th St. E., Palmdale, CA
(NOTE: the gallery is directly across the street from Melville J. Courson Park on 10th Street E. Look for the art in the windows.)

When? Saturday, April 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00p.m. **PLEASE arrive 15 minutes early to reserve your spot. Doors close once we begin.
