I had the joy of massaging Tw***ie today. Such a sweet boy. He was all “stranger danger” at first then he realized what I was doing and he was putty in my hands.
It’s insane the connection we as body workers build with our clients. I can swear I felt how nervous he felt at first. As in I felt his emotions but knew the weren’t my feelings. So glad he sensed I was there to help him and was blessed to really relax.

Today I massaged Tess. Her mom and grandma brought her to my house. It was such an honor to meet them all. We had tons of laughs!
Tess and my horse Buckley had a thing for eachother. We joked about Tess being a fire breathing dragon and made some AI images 😂
Buckley surprised me with the way he was showing off and strutting his stuff for Tess.
Oh yeah and it was great to hear “Wow! She’s moving better and looks looser after her massage”. I love what I do!

Every time I go massage any horses at Cheryl’s place my kids beg me to come along. They love all the animals there. Rio & my son Sean have a pretty cool connection. Rio always loves playing with Sean’s ears! It’s so funny!!! 😆

A few pictures from yesterday’s massages. I can’t believe I do this for work. I enjoy it and love it so much.
Seeing relief in these animals and peace of mind for their owners brings me such joy!

I went to do a few massages yesterday. While I was massaging his brother, this boy called out to me. He was so impatient for his massage. Then during his massage we definitely had to take a little break for some fun. This boy has such a funny personality 🤣 It’s always an adventure when I see him.

This is my personal horse which I’m rehabbing. Doing groundwork, ground poles and these butt tucks. This exercise helps strengthen the horse's core, improves hind end engagement, and can aid in building a stronger topline

Sweet little mare got her massage yesterday. She’s a “mature” lady at 27. So well behaved, didn’t even need to be tied. She was happy with a massage, a nap and a snack 🤣

Horses are extraordinary creatures and this girl Itchy is no exception. She is a healer! My husband Steve was holding her for me while I worked on her. He’s recovering from carpal tunnel surgery on both hands and Itchy could sense he was hurting. She was paying close attention to both hands, but more to the side he reported was hurting more. God knew what He was doing when he created these animals. I’ve been smiling all day thinking of what I witnessed today. I’ve been doing equine bodywork for several years now and they still manage to amaze me all the time! 💖

Today I had the privilege of working on these three beauties. Rio and Poncho I’ve worked on before and they were quite the gentlemen as usual. Dory was new and boy was that exciting 😳.
She has a tendency to pull back as I was warned about … and sure enough she did just that.

I didn’t want to tie her back up, so I called reinforcements 🤣 I called my husband to come hold her for me. He certainly didn’t sign up for this when he married me, but he was great at comforting Dory and I love him for that 💖

I could tell she was hurting and was scared. I listened to her. I worked on areas she was ok with first and didn’t push on areas she was uncomfortable with such as her head and neck.
Once I was able to gain her trust she allowed me to work on her poll, face, neck and crest. That was something I was so grateful for and honored to experience. 🙏

It is such an honor to work on these animals 🐴!
Today I took the time to massage our own horse Buckley. He’s new to us, I’ve massaged him a few times already. Today was special though, because it was the first time I could tell he really enjoyed it instead of being stoic. I felt a sweet connection with him that I hadn’t felt before. He gave me kisses throughout his massage … 🥰 Everything takes time, nothing is instantaneous 🙏
