Ridge is feeling pretty good considering and will get new scans Friday with results Monday to find out if this different chemo is working. 🙏🏻

Last week my son Ridge was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that grows in the connective tissues. The tumor is in his abdomen measuring 8 inches by 8 inches by 5 😱
The cancer is so rare that the cancer center has only had 4 cases in the last 5 years. Because it is so rare there are no real statistics. The first step is a 5 day in patient chemo at the hospital that we hope will start this week. Then every 3 weeks he will have more chemo. It wasn’t clear how long this will go on for. So many have reached out to ask what they can do for us and my answer is always…. I have no idea ❤️

As I thought about what I can do for Ridge, I see the stress about how he will work or if he will be able to work and if not how will he pay his bills. So I decided to try and collect donations for him to help alleviate some of that stress.
I’m adding a link here that you can send donations to me by pay pal, Venmo, or cash app
In the notes please send encouragement I will make a notebook of all your kind words and give them to Ridge.
My goal is to raise $3000-$5000 and I will update this post so you can see where we are at with reaching that goal. I will share updates of his progress in the comments to this post, so if you would like to follow just turn on notifications for this post.

Looking through my Facebook memories
8 years ago today I had kids starting school in
11th, 10th, 8th, 6th, 1st, and kinder and a 1 year old at home. 😳
Those days were so busy yet I feel like I had a much better handle on things then. These days I feel like a complete disaster but I get up and put one foot in front of the other and try and recognize the good steps. ❤️

New things can be totally scary but sometimes you just have to jump all in. I am changing some things up in my health aim privately before I start sharing but I already feel excited to talk on here again which I haven’t wanted to do for sooooo long. Fell into some depression and anxiety and even talking to friends hasn’t always been easy nor have I gone in to even try too much. New things are in the horizon 😎😎
