Today I started work on this week’s challenge. I love how this whole process is basically problem solving. Placement of the pattern is going to be intentional and important tomorrow. Can’t wait to continue.

There are so many simple mistakes a beginner sewer will make. But being flexible and pivoting will get you to the finish line of your projects. When I realized I skipped a whole step I didn’t quit or decide not to add the pocket. And the end result is still the same. Only the method changed.

Bags A-B are completed 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Yesterday I wasted no time. As soon as I got home, I was at the machine. I wanted to complete everything so that I can use the rest of the week for posting.

Anyway. I love the final result. Like last time there were parts I didn’t do like putting in batting or using Velcro to connect the mini purse. There were mistakes made but improvising in the name of the game 🫣🫣.

Nothing like sewing to teach patience. Each time I mess up I just hear Tamela Mann “truth is I’m tiiiired”.

But the bag is coming along nicely. I should have the final result posted by the end of today.

I was so confused by some of the instructions, but I pushed through. I was busy having fun. I don’t want to buy anything new for this challenge. I want to use what ever materials I already have. Final part posted.
