🚒Celebrating 94 Years of Service: Racine Firefighters L-321🚒

As we proudly mark the 94th anniversary of Racine Firefighters L-321, founded on December 21, 1931, we take a moment to reflect on the remarkable year we've had.

This past year was significant for our local as we worked tirelessly to solidify essential services in the City of Racine. With the support of our community, we successfully passed a referendum aimed at maintaining the level of service that the citizens of Racine deserve.

Additionally, we reached a positive resolution in our long-standing negotiations with the city, culminating in a declaratory ruling and the finalization of an outstanding contract. Moreover, we welcomed Kansasville Fire and Rescue full-time members as an affiliate of L-321, further strengthening our commitment to excellent service.

None of this could have been achieved without the unwavering support of the communities we serve. Thank you for your continued trust and encouragement over the past year.

As we enter the holiday season, we wish everyone a joyful and safe holiday period!

In a historic development, the U.S. Senate has passed the IAFF-endorsed Honoring Our Fallen Heroes Act as part of the National Defense Authorization Act

What an incredible day at the House of Harley for the annual chili cook-off! Our Racine Fire Fighters L-321 brought the heat and showcased their culinary skills, taking home not just one, but TWO impressive awards!

🥈 2nd Place in Judges' Choice

🏆 1st Place in Spirit Award: We're equally thrilled to celebrate our victory in the Spirit Award category! This accomplishment reflects our team's camaraderie and community spirit, which shines bright whenever we come together.

A special shoutout to Troy Dornak, the mastermind behind our award-winning chili! Your passion for cooking and creativity really elevated our Chili, making it a standout at the event. Thank you for leading the way!

We’d also like to give a big thank you to House of Harley-Davidson for hosting this fantastic event! Your support brings our community together, and we appreciate everything you do.

On this day... 24 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights.

2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning.

343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift.
60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol.

8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift.

None of them saw past 11:00am Sept 11, 2001.
