Hello! I’m Cherilynn Whitten, the doula, owner of Transforming Births Doula Service, a mom of 1 (a toddler going on 13), an artist and a wife to

I’ve been doing doula work since 2020 and attending births since 2019. I’m DONA International Certified as a Birth and a Postpartum doula • I’ve attended many a hospital birth, but I am very passionate about advocating for women to birth at home or in a birthing center! I am not biased with this type of support, but my capacity for hospital births is very minimal at this point in my own mental/emotional health journey. I still attend hospital births for my friends and repeat clients along with planned cesarean births • I absolutely love nurturing, educating and supporting the birth mom as well as the postpartum mom and her family. So I became a postpartum doula! I only do day-time shifts, but I love that I can meal prep, wash feeding supplies, care for your newborn, be there as an emotional support for you to process or ask questions, assist with breastfeeding, and even teach you some skills to soothe your baby to sleep or be there if you need the sleep!!! • I’m here for it all and I’d love to be a apart of your transformative journey as a parent🤎

Injured from birth almost two years ago, a hard and fast fall, and working hard in our new yard has caused me to be in bed to heal and await next steps for treatment. There’s no other way to put it but saying that this pain is all still worth it to have a child even if life looks messy, feels really hard and having backups for your birth clients and saying “no” to hospital births.

UPDATE: 🤎
I am still holding free 30min consultations for home births/birth center births and postpartum support! My availability for booking births is OPEN October, November, December and beyond. Postpartum classes are still happening online on Saturdays and you can find the link on my website to book. Postpartum doula support won’t be available until the fall (September) at this point in my own physical healing journey!!

Excited for more of my own internal transformation and healing even in the slow, long, hard days. I’m forever thankful🙏🏼

📅 Available for births starting June-November 2025. Postpartum clients book now until the end of the year!

💵 Rates vary on each service! See my website for packaging rates and other service discounts!

🤰🏽Birth Support is limited to home birthing clients and birthing centers/suits as of now. Due to my own mental and emotional capacity. Nothing against hospital birth settings!

👩🏻‍🍼Postpartum support is limited to only day-time in-home support for the first 6 weeks with you and your new born!
