About Our Optometrists

If you are looking for a new eye doctor in Raleigh or Rocky Mount, you have come to the right place. Family Eyecare Center has a qualified team of eye care specialists who have a passion for helping patients see clearly. With a comprehensive list of services helping both children and adults, we are the only group you will need to ensure good eye health for the entire family.

Personable Optometrist in Raleigh and Rocky Mount

Family Eyecare Center has two skilled optometrists ready to serve you, and both offer a friendly personality that help patients feel at ease. Dr. Jeffrey Handschumacher is our lead optometrist in Raleigh and Rocky Mount, and he has been in practice since 1999, providing primary eye care, contact lens fittings and the treatment and management of ocular diseases. He is joined by Dr. Cara Finn, another passionate and friendly optometrist, to allow our clinics to meet the needs of many patients.
