Making excuses protects comfort, not calling.
🌱 Excuses are comforting. They help us avoid the discomfort of action, the vulnerability of exposure, and the fear of getting it wrong.
But here’s the truth:
Excuses are comfort-based decisions, not covenant-based decisions.
When you keep making excuses, you’re choosing what feels safe over what’s actually divinely assigned.
You’re nurturing your fear instead of stewarding your calling.
🌱 God never promised comfort in your calling. He promised presence, power, and provision.
And while you’re busy trying to protect your image, God is still waiting on your obedience.
“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” – Isaiah 1:19
“Now the Lord said to Abram, ‘Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you…’” — Genesis 12:1-2 (ESV)
So here’s the question:
🌱 What’s your comfort zone costing you?
Because the longer you protect it, the longer your calling stays delayed and possibly, buried.
Let this be your sign:
🌱Break up with the excuse. Walk into your assignment. Your comfort zone is not your covenant place.
