This Black History Month, The H**p Store NC High-Lites Black Women who have changed the H**p and Cannabis world for the better. As a female, minority owned business, we give our “flowers” to those who have paved the way for the industry that we love and invest ourselves in today.
For the final week of Black History Month, we High-Lite Toi Hutchinson. Formerly a senator of Illinois, Hutchinson laid the ground work for a safe and successful cannabis industry. Her success in her senate position led her to her role as the Senior Advisor of Gov. Pritzker for Cannabis Control. We love and appreciate the effort that she has dedicated to legalizing our industry, and the way she continues to work towards a better future for cannabis.
As Black History Month comes to an end, we send gratitude to ALL of the incredible black women who have built up and supported the cannabis industry throughout its history. We would not have access to safe and legal cannabis use if it were not for people like Wanda James, Shanel Lindsay, Dasheeda Dawson, and Toi Hutchinson. These women, and so many others, are to thank for the positive movement towards a legal and controlled cannabis industry. THANK YOU LADIES 🩷🍃💐
