I help people examine their health while providing ongoing support and guidance to help you set personal goals and make sustainable changes that improve not only your physical health but your mental health too. There is a ton of contradictory nutrition advice and diets out there and I will help you navigate a path that works best for you to make necessary changes. Because, it’s not very often a person gets an hour of personal attention discussing their health and nutrition goals with a professional? As a wellness coach, I create a comfortable and supportive environment that will enable you to achieve your health goals. I have studied many of the major dietary theories and I use practical lifestyle coaching methods to guide you in discovering which approach works best for you. So, instead of creating a list of restrictions of good and bad foods, I coach clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of judgment. No ONE diet or fitness program works for everyone. I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you and I will also help you make gradual, lifelong changes and habits that help you reach your health goals.

As we head into fall next week 🍂, it’s the perfect time to root down, rise up, and reset.
This Tuesday night in Gentle & VinyasaFlow, we’ll explore Shoulder Stand — a posture that mirrors the season’s shift, inviting us to release, reflect, and renew.

✨ All levels welcome

Shoulder Stand (Sarvangasana) is considered one of yoga’s most beneficial postures — it’s even called the “Queen of Poses”

🌿 Physical Benefits
*Supports circulation: Inverting helps blood flow back toward the heart and brain, giving your cardiovascular system a gentle reset.
*Boosts lymphatic drainage: The position encourages lymph movement, which can support immunity and reduce swelling.
*Strengthens the core & shoulders: Holding the pose builds stability and strength in your core, back, and upper body.
*Improves flexibility: Stretches the shoulders and neck while lengthening the spine.

🌿 Nervous System & Mind
*Calms the mind: The inversion can soothe the nervous system and promote relaxation.
*Reduces stress & fatigue: Often described as refreshing or re-energizing.
*Encourages inward focus: Being upside down shifts your perspective — great for reflection and mental reset.

🌿 Seasonal Tie-In to Fall
*Helps support immunity as seasons change.
*Encourages letting go of tension (especially in shoulders/neck) — mirroring how nature releases in fall.
*Invites a fresh perspective as we move into a new season.

It’s amazing how yoga brings awareness to the smallest parts of our bodies — like our feet and toes — and how much strength we can build in places we often overlook. These little wins add up to big changes in how we move, balance, and feel in everyday life.

09/08/2025

We’ll move at a comfortable pace, combining stretches and simple strength-building poses to help you feel grounded, supported, and refreshed.

👉 Reach out to me with any questions if you’re on the fence — I’d love to help you get started.

🍂 A fresh week ahead, friends!

✨ Monday morning, start your week off with a gentle Chair Yoga session from the comfort of your own home. This supportive practice is all about simple stretches to help you feel better throughout your day and set the tone for the week. 🌿

This class is FREE (or free-will donation) through the yoga ministry I’m part of. All proceeds this quarter support local flood relief efforts. 💧

💜 Thank you to everyone who gave so generously last quarter—we raised $1,895 for Mercy Chefs, who were on the ground serving meals to those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Truly incredible!

Be sure to check out the rest of our classes as we transition into fall… more cozy, grounding offerings and fun things are on the way. 🍁

✨ Happy Labor Day! ✨

We’ve got a light yoga schedule this week as we all take some time to transition from the free flow of summer into a more grounded, scheduled season. 🍂

Don’t forget to keep yourself a priority—whether that’s time on your mat, a solo walk, or a quiet moment of breath. 🌿

Stay tuned… we’ve got some fun adjustments coming to our fall schedule in the weeks ahead.
