For this Coloring Book, I drew inspiration from the art of indigenous people from different parts of the world. For me, this type of art embodies the spirit of The First People, opening a window into history and allowing us a glimpse into their daily lives. I find it to be fascinating, full of mysterious symbols and unique points of view. It is interesting to me that so many different cultures, so far apart, all have this one burning desire; to communicate their thoughts and experiences through art!
