A tribute

I hope 2017 is treating you all well so far. I wanted to take a moment to share a piece of art that I completed just before the New Year.
Many people have noted that 2016 was a year punctuated with a great loss of numerous celebrities. The most noteworthy loss, I feel, we suffered last year was not that of a celebrity but of a true visionary, one who saw the critical flaw in a system that we are so dependent upon.
While it may have started with the best of intentions the efforts of industrial agriculture to mechanize life and food production quickly became the single most destructive force on the planet. This man saw another pathway- to follow the example set by nature and to mimic it's inter-workings to provide four our population in a sustainable manner. This idea has grown into a quiet revolution that has spread throughout the globe
So this piece was created in honor of Bill Mollison, the "Time Scout" and Father of Permaculture and honoring all those who have carried his work forward in the world.
