Fun fact: Penelope’s father joined us again this past February at our CF Valentine's Gala to help with our Fund the Mission! What a wonderful family!!

Thank you Berks County Community Foundation!
To all of our supporters, if you know ANYONE with Cystic Fibrosis in Berks County, please direct them to BCCF! Patients with CF are at a greater risk of having a severe or critical case if they contact COVID-19. Our fund can help!

With that, those with CF in our community and their families are most likely completely quarantined and needing to take extra precautions during this time. Reach out to see if they need assistance with running to get groceries, food, disinfectants, prescriptions, etc.!

Those with CF may also experience enhanced loneliness right now so it never hurts to make a call to check in and talk to them!

If you have CF and are in our community, reach out to BCCF and our page for help! We’re here to help!

Happy Valentine’s Day! Today is about love and, boy, do we love everyone who attended our Annual Valentine’s Gala this past Saturday!

Our community is so lucky to have so many residents invested in supporting those with CF here in Berks County, which has allowed us to form the Cystic Fibrosis Fund is Berks County with the Berks County Community Foundation!

There were many donors and important figures at the cystic fibrosis gala in Reading on Saturday but the real star was a 8-year-old boy with a huge heart.

The Cystic Fibrosis Fund of Berks County was established in 2018 with the mission to improve the quality and length of life for individuals in our Community with CF. In partnership with Berks County Community Foundation the Cystic Fibrosis Fund is able to assist local families with individualized treatment and to help fund drug research and specialized treatment.

Through the support of community-based events such as the Valentine’s Gala, the life expectancy of a child with CF continues to increase at a more rapid pace. The Cystic Fibrosis Fund aims to support children and adults in our community battling CF with treatment costs, medical equipment costs, and research to find a cure.
