Does your kid love decorating cookies but you hate the mess?

Then clear your Saturday afternoon plans bc we’ve got just the event for you! Cookies + Cocoa with Ms Shelby is child centered, hands on, from-scratch cooking class. And it’s perfect for the holiday season.

First they make the icing, then they dye the icing (with plant based dyes!), then Ms Shelby pulls out the toppings bar and the kids get crafty with 3 homemade, holiday shaped, sugar cookies. And that’s not it! Once the cookies are done, they make freshly whipped cream. The perfect addition to the hot cocoa bar, complete with dye-free candy canes, and gut healthy marshmallows straight from Ms Shelby’s kitchen. Not only is your kitchen still clean but you have the comfort of knowing every ingredient used.

Another magical class ✨

For my Cookies + Cocoa series — our focus isn’t just on the holiday spirit. We work together and develop a new appreciation for food by making icing + freshly whipped cream from scratch. We become a little community by making sure everyone has the additions they need for their creations. And we leave a little happier with little curated creations that also taste really good. And grown ups get to feel relief knowing we used plant powered dyes and I make everything from scratch.

Tiny Chefs | December 6th, 13th, + 20th
A fun, hands-on cooking class where tiny humans get creative making + decorating cookies with natural dyes made from plants. After completing their colorful treats, they’ll warm up at a from-scratch hot cocoa bar — complete with freshly whipped (by them!) cream, marshmallows, and cozy toppings. Wonder Workshop | December 12th
In this colorful, creative class, tiny humans will design and craft their own sun catchers. Using vibrant beads and imagination, they’ll explore patterns, fine motor skills, and the joy of bringing some to bring warmth and light in the cooler, darker months. Winter Solstice | December 21st
Let’s celebrate the magic of the longest night of the year with a cozy, family-friendly gathering. Tiny humans will enjoy storytelling, crafting lanterns, creating Yule logs, and sharing warm treats. Just another day doing what I love.

Between being able to make food from-scratch and teaching tiny humans the same appreciation and love I have for food, I am on cloud nine.

My next series is Cookie + Cocoa. And this one is coming straight from the heart. My most loved cookie recipes, making and dying icing with plant dyes, the best hot cocoa you’ll have, gut-healthy marshmallows, and freshly whipped cream. Dates are — December 6th, 13th, + 20th. Spots go fast!

Also — I have my first Mindful Movers class tomorrow ! And there’s still space. We’re taking a trip through movement and story telling to The Cloud Garden. And our first Wonders Workshop with is December 12th. Tiny humans will craft sun catchers to remember the warmth during the cooler months.

The temps have dropped, my gnomes are out, and I’m making plans to go see the holiday lights 🌲
