Our boy was cleared by Dr. Bricker for physical therapy. Today was his first appointment. He was fitted with a donated wheelchair, received laser treatments on his pressure wound & spine, we learned some new exercises to do as homework, and George took his first stroll with his new wheels! We don’t know if the chair is permanent, but I didn't realize using one can actually encourage George to walk on his own again! Therapy is AMAZING!!! We both feel SO EMPOWERED!
