It's been a while since I have posted anything to Happenings in EMS.

Over the past several months there have been a number of LODD's as well as Suicide's by MOS.

What seems to have happened is that no one is immune to PTSD and that we do not have to face it alone.

It has been brought to the forefront and we have resources. Whether it's from a formal established group, agency or service. If needed reach out and take advantage of it.

Also make connections with Co workers, Friends, Family or even stranger's who work in the same career or anyone of the other Emergency Service's.

Also find ways to remove yourself from the darkness that we have to walk into to help those who can't or need our assistance.

We have chosen this path and we do it to help are fellow man and woman by experiencing the worse that society has to offer on any given day so that other's don't or won't have too.

I usually make sure that I always have every other weekend off which is 3 days that include Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Time is spent with Family, Friends and Neighbors relaxing in the yard or home.

Other times it is spent with hobbies, listening to music, working around the house or yard or just sitting outdoors with the sounds of nature as well as the smells and visual stimulations as can be found in the attached videos and photos.

While visiting one of my Closed Groups where everything about Emergency Medical Services are discussed the topic regarding how things have changed or not in the State of New Jersey. An article from New Jersey Monthly from November 1979 was a hot topic.

I remember it well and the tension - turmoil it caused.

As I continue to invite many of you, I would like to thank you for showing interest. My goal is not to be a bother but hopefully present current events and subjects to as many people as possible.

For those who may not be in the career field or any of the ancillary services, I hope what we post and discuss are helpful and informative at least.

I also invite you to share with Family, Friends and even the passerbys so that we all can gain knowledge while spreading a wealth of information.

I am a member of several closed groups on Facebook and feel this is the next step in the progression to move forward with concerns brought up.

I have set up this page to post and publish items that are of interest to the general public and those who staff vehicles as a public service as members of EMS, Fire or Police.

Goal is to educate and inform!
