By root and flame. By breath and bone.
I call my spirit back to throne.
From every place I've bled to give,
Return, dear soul. It's time to live.

I unhook from burdens not my own.
I release the masks I had to wear.
I soften every place grown stone.
I call myself back from despair.

Where I was drained, I now refill.
Where I was hushed, I now reclaim.
Where I was weary, I stand still
And whisper gently: I remain.

No more fragments lost in time.
No more pieces cast away.
I summon all that's truly mine.
And bless this vessel where I stay.

Let rest be sacred. Let tears be holy.
Let joy return, not fast but slowly.
With every breath, I weave anew.

This is my sacred drum. My first ever. Handcrafted in 2003 by the incredible Shari Ubechel, a woman whose spirit lived in every beat that echoed from this sacred circle. Shari made this design for me in a commission from her shop at our Ren Faire in Pennsylvania once upon a time. Shari opened the path for me to find rhythm as medicine, and I have carried her legacy in every journey I guided. This drum made it over 20 years before I had to retire her because I did not want the skin to be further damaged. I hope to someday have another like her.
Shamanic drumming isn't just music; it's a portal. The steady heartbeat of the drum helps shift your brainwave state into the dream space, the vision space. Here, spiritual insight, emotional healing, and soul wisdom can arise.
It supports deep journeywork, helping you access inner landscapes, meet guides, and reconnect with your power.
It promotes emotional release and grounding, especially in times of grief, confusion, or spiritual fatigue.
It offers a return to rhythm, helping you remember what it means to walk in harmony with nature and your soul's truth.
As a facilitator and intuitive guide, I offer drumming journeys. one-on-one. And in the future, I will be offering this service to small groups, online or in person. Blessed be the fire that warms, the fire that fuels your passions, ignites your purpose, and dances with the rhythm of your heartbeat. As the Earth hums her midsummer song, may you feel held by her green embrace, rooted in trust, and wild with possibility. May the spirits of Sun and Sky kiss your crown with vision. May the waters of life flow gently through your days. And when the shadows lengthen once more, may you carry this light within. Let it be a lantern of your becoming, a reminder that you are the bloom and the fire, the seed and the star. Blessed Summer Solstice, dear soul.
