My heart is broken as I share that my dear friend, Suzie Smith, went home to be with Jesus after a tragic helicopter crash.
Suzie was a faithful flight nurse with a servant’s heart — always running toward need, never away. I had the sacred honor of helping her birth her children… and later, some of her grandchildren. Our lives have been beautifully woven together, and my love for her runs deep.
While the grief is real, so is the hope. Suzie was a faithful follower of Christ, and I know with full confidence that she is now in the arms of her Savior — whole, at peace, and full of joy.
Until we meet again, sweet friend.

Nora’s legacy isn’t just measured in the lives she’s helped bring into the world — but in the midwives she’s trained along the way. 🕊️

After decades of dedicated midwifery work, Nora tried to retire. But God gently called her back — not just to attend births, but to equip and guide the next generation of midwives!

With 50 years of experience, Nora continues to serve with humility, wisdom, and a deep heart to teach. Her hands have caught hundreds of babies, but her legacy lives just as powerfully in the hands she’s trained — midwives shaped by her steady presence and unwavering faith.

To be trained by Nora is to learn birth work as both a calling and an act of love.
