Grief doesn’t just live in your memories… it can live in your body.
In this clip with Karen from , we talk about how unprocessed grief doesn’t simply “go away”. It can get stored, held, and carried in ways most people never realize.

This isn’t always about losing a person. Sometimes it’s the grief of change, identity shifts, endings, or versions of yourself you had to let go of.
And if it never gets processed… it doesn’t disappear. It just finds another way to stay.

How do you grieve something that doesn’t have a death certificate? Have you ever felt that you weren’t allowed to grieve it because it wasn’t a “normal” grief?

This interview is packed with grief wisdom, tools, insight, and information to help you in your journey - wherever you are in it. You can watch the full episode now linked in our bio, or at YouTube.com/

There’s a kind of grief that doesn’t come from death… but from change.

In this clip with Karen from , she speaks about something most people don’t have language for yet: grieving the version of you that no longer exists.

Even when the change is chosen (quitting smoking, leaving a relationship, outgrowing an identity, breaking a habit) it can still feel like loss. Because what’s unfamiliar can feel like absence. And what’s no longer part of your life can still be deeply emotionally real.

We don’t always grieve people.
Sometimes we grieve parts of ourselves.
And that deserves to be witnessed too.

Episode drops Monday.

Have you ever felt your grief wasn’t recognized? Or maybe it wasn’t the grief of a loss of someone, but the dream, or the relationship, and people didn’t see it the same? Ever felt like you needed to dry up the tears and get back to “normal”?

Grief isn’t something that can be rushed through or managed. It sometimes is what it is. Let us know what you’re grieving and we’d love to comfort you in the comments. 💙

How do we talk to our kids about death, dying, grief and other difficult things in life? We continue this conversation with Bryn in this short as she breaks down valuable tips on hard things using her personal experiences with loss.

A lot of our discomfort with hard emotions can make it difficult for our children to process them, and so allowing ourselves to grieve and move through it will create a path our children can follow and not be scared.

If you’re grieving, or navigating death, we encourage you to reach out. Leave a comment down below and we would love to encourage you.

In memory of Michael Roy Reuss.

We were honored to care for him and his family.

Michael Roy Reuss, 77, of Anderson, California, passed away on March 15, 2026. He was born on February 20, 1949, in Glendale, California, and lived a full, hands-on life shaped by curiosity, hard work, and a deep love for his family.

Michael was known for his fun, caring, and outgoing nature. He met life with energy and a sense of humor, always ready to talk, build, or head out on his next adventure. He had a lifelong curiosity about the world and was a big Bigfoot believer. In his younger years, he loved football, baseball, surfing, and riding dirt bikes or traveling to Baja. He was proud to have contributed to the mechanical fabrication of the Dynafoil watercraft in the 1970s.

He was both musically inclined and mechanically gifted, a combination that showed up throughout his life. Michael worked in the elevator industry, as a bike mechanic, and later as a pool and spa technician. In 2008, he started his own pool and spa repair business, which he ran until 2021. He valued independence and took pride in his work, building a life through consistency and effort.

His family and his faith were at the center of everything. Michael was a devoted Christian husband and father who cared deeply for those closest to him. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Reuss; his children, Hollie Powers, Zach Reuss, and Daniel Reuss; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Marcus, Shelby, Deegan, and Ranger. He is also survived by his brother, William Reuss III. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Reuss Jr. and Olive Reuss.

Michael will be remembered for how he lived day to day. Steady, capable, and engaged. He built things with his hands, shared stories with those around him, and stayed connected to the people he loved.
