We are now enrolling for a clinical trial evaluating the effectiveness of an investigational medication on lowering cholesterol and decreasing the risk for cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes. Qualified participants must:

✅ Have high cholesterol
✅ Three or more risk factors including: advanced age, to***co use, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, elevated coronary artery calcium score, family history of premature atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, etc.

ERA Recruiter Spotlight: Rachel Kelly, RN (Redmond)

“When my grandmother was put on hospice care and I became her full-time caregiver, I realized nursing was my true calling and left my job in public relations. While working for one of Seattle’s top-rated surgeons I was introduced to the world of research, and now am in a nurse-recruiter role with ERA. I love being a part of the meaningful impact our studies have on patients and the future of healthcare as a whole. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy going on long walks with my border collie, finding new recipes, and discovering new hikes and trails in the PNW.”

We are excited to announce that Dr. Chris Price has joined ERA as a Principal Investigator! Dr. Chris Price is a board-certified cardiologist who graduated from Santa Clara University (BS) in 1991 and from Creighton University (MD) in 1995. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Oregon Health Sciences University and Cardiology Fellowship at Creighton University. He practiced general cardiology in the Seattle area for over 15 years until he retired in 2017. While working at The Everett Clinic and EvergreenHealth, he served in leadership positions including Department Chair and Director of Non-Invasive Cardiology. He has always been a dedicated patient advocate, whether that was for his own patients or his family friends. After experiencing a personal health issue that led to his early retirement, he became even more interested in patient advocacy and started his own business, Call Doctor Chris, to continue this passion and serve others in Washington state and beyond. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife Erika, visiting his adult sons Ryan and Stephen on the East coast, and playing with rescue dogs Gizmo and Enzo. On the weekends, you may find him cycling, snowboarding or reading a good book.
