🔥 Redmond Fire on the Front Lines of the Cram Fire 🔥

This summer, Redmond Firefighter Nick has been serving beyond city limits as part of Northwest Team 10 on the Cram Fire—a massive wildland fire near Madras, Oregon that has burned 95,736 acres and engaged over 530 personnel.

As a Communications Technician (COMT), Nick plays a vital role in setting up and maintaining the complex communication systems that keep crews connected and safe on large-scale incidents. These systems are the lifeline for firefighters working in rugged terrain and challenging conditions.

We’re proud of Nick’s expertise and dedication, and of Redmond’s continued commitment to supporting our regional and national wildland firefighting efforts.

📸 Check out a few snapshots from the field, showcasing the behind-the-scenes work that makes a major incident run smoothly.

🚒💦 Redmond Little League All-Stars… You’ve Been Soaked! 💦⚾️

On a hot summer afternoon, our Redmond Firefighters stepped up to the plate—but this time, with a deck gun instead of a bat! 🌞💪

The Redmond Little League All-Star teams got a chance to cool off in the best way possible—under a high-powered water blast from one of our fire engines! Nothing brings the heat relief like a little firefighter fun. 😎🔥

We’re proud to support our community’s young athletes and keep the All-Star spirit alive both on and off the field. Special thanks to our team members who helped make this memorable—and soaking wet—moment happen!
