I was thinking of all the strategies I could share to help you stay on track through holiday weekends, But this sounds BORING....

And honestly won’t help if you’re goals are weight loss 🤷‍♀️

telling you 5 things I do that you can do too won't matter if you aren't a person who does them...

they will feel forced, you will feel like you have to and we don't want to feel that way...

that's a recipe for eventual rebellion

✨But here is what I can tell you that may help you long term...

👉I have become a person who just does some bare minimums of things because it's WHO I am... not because I have to, because I want to...

I know how much better I feel and above all else I want to feel good.👏

✨Practice builds confidence and when you feel confident in who you are and who you want to be it is easy to show up and do the small things that matter most.✨

I'm always happy to share strategies that work for me... but connecting with how you want to feel, who you want to be, and starting to take action as if you already are that person is far more powerful.

🤯 blows my mind when I see and hear about women in their 40’s and 50’s still trying to lose weight like they are 20 🤯🫣

There’s a better way ❤️👇

Because if you go straight to the lowest possible calories every time you want to lose weight 🛑 stop 👏 that 🛑 😆 said with love.

✨Here’s a handful of must do’s I’d prioritize✨

Instead of always focusing on eating less

✨Let’s focus on getting enough protein and fiber
At least 80-100 grams of protein
At least 20-25 grams of fiber

Instead of how many calories your workouts burn

✨ Strength train with weights, that feel challenging bare minimum 3 times a week at least 30 minutes

✨ Sleep 7-8 hours each night
Put the phone down to get better rest.

✨ Walk more minimum 5k steps a day but 8-10k would be fabulous

Above all else, don’t let not being perfect in any of these keep you from improving a little.

Don’t let perfection keep you from action 🙌

And finally, yes you do need to dial calories in through nutrition, but it will be near impossible to get and keep results if these other pieces aren’t in place…

You also can’t go hard on eating nothing for a couple weeks to hit your goals… how well has that really worked long term??? 🙊

If you think finding the right diet will make the difference… you’re looking in the wrong place….



Having the courage to look at mindsets, routines, habits, and emotions, that have kept you stuck is where the real magic happens.



Staying the course on something sustainable and feels good, not like a miserable plan that drains your body is another piece to the puzzle.

Agree with the saying health is wealth?

A lot of parents are setting their kids up for success, but forget to model taking care of themselves and putting in place the habits so they feel their best…

BUT when a parent is active in their own health and fitness journey they are planting the seeds to make working out the norm, and taking care of your health and well being the norm.

Thankful I saw both my mom and dad exercising throughout my child hood 🙏

Avoid this mistake when losing weight for summer! 👀

This is one of the most common mistakes keeping women from losing the weight for GOOD!

And if you have goals to lose weight before summer, maybe it's 5- 10- 15 lbs and feel like every summer you keep trying to lose the same weight over and over again...

It's likely you’re putting too much trust in a quick-fix diet...

Instead of putting your belief in YOURSELF.

Putting all that energy into something to get results fast only to FALL off track come a vacation, or fall, followed by the holidays is keeping you in this never ending cycle.

The diet industry thrives on this. 😡

And honestly, life has peaks and valleys and seasons, so it is okay to dial things in here and there...

👉but if you find your weight is taking huge swings throughout the year, and you are either all in or totally off the deep end struggling to stay afloat when it comes to taking care of your body.

I love the beach and the mountains.... but the desert will always have a place in my heart.

Always inspired by the synchronicities of the universe, since this trip was initially something I imagined taking spring break 2020...

But this was truly the perfect time to take the trip.

3 years of putting almost 100% of my energy toward building my business...

I'm finally at a place of seeking more balance... without the fear of losing it all.

But instead knowing the balance is what is truly needed to continue to grow.

Coming full circle in practicing what I preach and allowing and prioritizing the rest and restore time.

My body needed the lighter load on workouts this week,

my soul needed the time to connect with my kids and be present,

and my heart needed the warmth of the desert.

Because when it comes to weight loss

A lot of us keep feeling like things are impossible

Or things should be easier.

We keep looking for a quick fix... and then when we don't get results right away we think those results are impossible.

Relax, the hard work is in the small steps and consistently showing up... that doesn't mean you can't have fun along the way.

It is hard to change your habits, beliefs and lifestyle, but it is possible.

If you want it and desire it and can imagine it being yours it is 100% possible.
