It was during a graduate level special populations class that I discovered there was minimal information about this topic. I was determined to learn ho
w to help women exercise safely during pregnancy and after. I worked as the prenatal "master trainer" for the prestigious Sports Club/LA where I privately trained almost every pregnant woman or new mother who walked through the door. At this point my expertise was called on to write a prenatal fitness continuing education program for the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I started teaching classes for mothers with their new babies at the same time for an organization called Beach Cities Heath District. I was able to experience the joys and challenges of exercising with my own baby. As years passed and I had 2 more children, I also understood the benefits of exercise more and more for women, especially mothers. Through all of these experiences I created a fitness program that encompasses functional strength with corrective exercises improving and strengthening the muscles affected by pregnancy and delivery. I love to help mothers achieve their fitness goals and improve their lifestyles.
