The glutes (the muscles in your buttocks) work in conjunction with the hamstrings to support good posture. Strong glutes help to stabilize the pelvis, which in turn assists in maintaining proper spinal alignment. When the glutes are engaged and strong, they work in tandem with the hamstrings to support the lower back and contribute to a more upright, aligned posture. When hamstrings and glutes are weak, they pull down causing low back pain as well as possibly hip pain.💪
