At Creative and Holistic Aging Service, my mission is to empower individuals to embrace the journey of aging with vitality, purpose, and fulfillment. Through innovative, creative, and holistic approaches, my team and I will provide comprehensive support, resources, and personalized services to enhance physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Our commitment lies in fostering a vibrant community where every individual can thrive, celebrate their unique journey, and cultivate a legacy of wisdom and inspiration. We strive to redefine aging as a time of creativity, growth, and the possibility that anything is possible with compassion, understanding, respect, and love. As a healthcare advocate and change leader, my passion and life’s work is to ensure that our senior’s age in place with dignity, compassion, and integrity under the acts of humility, respect, and love for one another. I serve this cohort as an authentic healthcare advocate and liaison for families who care for a loved one with real health challenges.
My 20- years of experience in the healthcare field and my Bachelor’s degree in the Management of Aging Services have provided me with an understanding of the challenges that our seniors face daily and the awareness of the issues involved surrounding them, particularly in a social and economic context. As a caregiver to my mom of over 10 years, I understand first-hand the challenges that families face. There is a saying, “A mother can have five children but only one will be called to be the primary caregiver.” Some may call this a tremendous burden for one to carry however, I call it a blessing because you were chosen by a higher power out of all the siblings to give the greatest gift to your loved one; the gift of caregiving. In today’s society, it is essential to assist our aging seniors and to help them age in place through creative and holistic principles that promote independence, dignity, peace, love, and overall wellness.
