Is this weather making you feel a bit chilled?
Something right at your local grocery store can help warm you up. Zingiber also known as Ginger is a warming digestive aid. With many more supporting roles but for today let's focus on its diaphoretic action as it moves fluid and heat out to your extremities. It's also delicious candied, in baked goods but my favorite tea. It can be spicy and if left to brew too long it has bitter notes which to me is more medicinal.
Personally I prefer fresh root chopped and steeped for 10 minutes with chamomile. You can also re-pot the ribosome for a beautiful plant. So drink some tea. Warm up

The joys of parenting! While Patrick took sick over the last few days and work has been all over the place not to mention extra meetings, Ostara, and a sundog. Today with little sleep and a feeling better but very emotional yet energetic toddler how am I supposed to keep up?
For me the answer is simple Tulsi, Green Tea, and to keep from becoming Squidward St. Johnswort. A full quart throughout the day and my energy and grace are strengthened.

Happy Ostara! Today is the Vernal (spring) equinox. Today is a great day to sage your home bottom to top in clockwise rotation. Pushing out the stagnant air and visualizing positive vibrant energy taking its place. If it had been a difficult winter for you to meditate on the hardships leaving and the abundance you want coming in. Sweep, clean, leave offerings outside or on your altyer of things you would like to see manifest in your life. It's the time to plan and prepare for the sowing.

If you like myself had too much fun yesterday. Peppermint or Ginger and chamomile will soothe your tummy. Meadowsweet willow bark or nettles to replenish your minerals will assist with the headache. And let's not forget the kidneys that worked so hard supporting those, some yarrow dandelion even milk thistle.
Each remedy should be mixed based on your personal Constitution as well as personal preferences and taste but here's just a few of the herbs that can help when we have too much fun.

As we roll through spring break, I'd fancy a guess that some of you have meanagers you are raising. We don't often think of how busy their liver is. Between flushing the sugar and energy drinks it is also sorting through the hormones.
What can you do as a parent to support their liver (and yours)if need be? Milk Thistle
I would always recommend tea first but Milk Thistle as a capsule from a reputable company works as well in this case. So while our kids are home this week maybe give their liver some help.
