If you’ve brought someone under age 5 to our office, you’ve probably filled out a bunch of Ages and Stages Questionnaires, since we do them at all of our well checks between 2 months and 5 years. We do them because they can be an incredible tool for identifying subtle developmental differences and allowing us to jump in and help if a kiddo isn’t progressing as expected.

But we *love* them because they give us insights into our patients’ families and their sense of humor, like this 12 month old ASQ that made Dr. Raman laugh out loud.

Wishing you all a Happy 4th of July, and reminding you that we will be closed today to celebrate the holiday.

And because we *can't turn it off* did you know that every year > 10,000 kids are seen in the ER for fireworks injuries (mostly around today!) So remember, those fun sparkly things are best handled by the professionals!
