Just because you’ve accepted painful periods as your normal doesn’t mean they have to stay that way.

If you got a fever every single month you wouldn’t just manage it. You wouldn’t take something to take the edge off and keep going. You’d want to know why it keeps happening and actually fix it because it’s not normal to have a fever every month.
So why are we treating PMS like it’s just part of being a woman?
It’s not. & it will cause more issues as you age.
Your cycle is actually the fifth vital sign of your overall health, just like your blood pressure or your heart rate. When it’s consistently painful, unpredictable or exhausting every month your body isn’t being dramatic. It’s telling you something in your system needs attention.
The problem isn’t your body. It’s that nobody ever showed you what your cycle actually needs to thrive.
Here’s where I start my clients 👇🏽
🥗 Build a food system, not a diet
Your hormones need consistent fuel to do their job. Skipping meals, eating at 3pm when you finally come up for air, running on caffeine, your cycle feels all of it. Start with eating consistently before anything else.
🧘🏽♀️Give your week actual breathing room
Your busiest weeks are almost always your worst PMS weeks. That’s not a coincidence. Your nervous system needs space to regulate and right now it’s not getting it.
💤 Build an evening that lets you actually unplug
Your body does its hormone regulation overnight. If you’re going to bed with your brain still running, waking up at 2am, lying there for an hour — your body never gets to do that work.
These aren’t wellness nice-to-haves. They are the foundation your cycle needs.
When the system is right, your period stops being something you mentally prepare for. The week before stops wiping you out. You stop dreading it.
That’s not a dream. That’s what happens when your life actually supports your hormones!!
