Foundations of Therapeutic Touch

A four-week (12 hour) online course in April, 2022

offered by British Columbia Therapeutic Touch Network, recognized teachers:

The Foundations of Therapeutic Touch is the first of three core curriculum courses. In the Foundations course students will learn and practice the basics of offering a Therapeutic Touch session.

This introductory course will also:

· Guide you to finding a centred place that is calm and peaceful within you

· Introduce you to the history and theory of Therapeutic Touch (TT) within the broader context of energy healing

· Provide practice sessions for the steps of a Therapeutic Touch session

· Provide resources for your further exploration and understanding of TT

Calming Pain
with Kathy Wilmering, MSW, ARNP, BC, QTTT

Kathy studied for several decades with TT co-founders Dolores Krieger and Dora Kunz. For over 35 years she has helped people heal physical and mental health challenges and has presented her work across the U.S., Canada, and the E.U. Kathy teaches with humor and clarity.

We begin each meeting with introductions, then a short meditation, the presentation and lastly, we break into pairs for TT sessions. Look for the Zoom link as the date gets closer.

Cultivating Compassion: Science + Spirituality =
A whole lotta practice!
with Mary Lou Trinkwon
Dolores Krieger called Therapeutic Touch “a technique of compassion”. How then do we learn and cultivate this technique? Where does it live in us and how do we feel and care for it? Let’s explore together some of the science on compassion and its significance to our practice in order to harness the energy of compassions powerful impact in our lives, our practice and our world.

Mary Lou Trinkwon TTRT has been practicing TT for about 8 years. She is an active member of BCTTNS, where she sits on the Board as Education Committee co-chair. She is a Hospice and Bereavement volunteer and has a small Hp practice. As an educator her interest in healing intersects with learning, as an artist both healing and learning intersect with creativity.

Join TTPA on Saturday, March 12, from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm Pacific time on Zoom. We will have a short annual meeting and then begin the program. There will be an hour for lunch where we will break into small groups to share lunch and conversation. We look forward to seeing old and new friends.
