My career started as an engineer, but I soon realized it wasn't my true calling. I then transitioned to become a mobile dog groomer, fueled by my love for animals. However, a wrist injury forced me to rethink my path once again. Around that time, I discovered the concept that everything is energy, and like energy attracts like energy. This revelation opened a new world for me. I learned about subtle energy fields, the seven major chakras, and the layers that compose our auras. It was a revelation that even animals, trees, and plants have auras too. Eager to explore this newfound knowledge, I delved into various metaphysical classes, seeking to understand more about this energy world I had uncovered. Then, during a visit to the vet for my injured cat, I had a fascinating conversation about energy, and I mentioned how I wished I could do more for hurt wild animals that showed up in my backyard. The office manager suggested Reiki, a term I had never heard before. With that spark of curiosity, I enrolled in a Reiki class just three weeks later, and my life took a transformative turn. I embraced Reiki wholeheartedly, and I've never looked back since. My journey from engineering to animal care to Reiki has given me a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of energy in all living beings and a passion for helping others tap into their own energy healing potential. I'm deeply dedicated to helping individuals unlock their full potential and lead more fulfilling lives. My journey as a Reiki Master, combined with my training in spiritual tools, has equipped me with a unique set of skills and insights. These experiences have not only transformed my own life but have also allowed me to offer a wide range of services that can guide and empower others on their own paths of self-discovery. Purr of Heart Reiki offers gentle Japanese Reiki sessions for people and pets. And Reiki Classes for those people that want to learn Reiki themselves.

Hi My name is Sheri Morris and I love animals, nature and Reiki. For the last 25 years I have always shared my life with cats. I believe they are the best reminders of self love, not taking life too seriously and staying in the present. It was my cat named Hope (yes no matter what I can always say I have a little Hope) that lead me to Reiki. She came home hurt one day and I had to take her to the vet. There I mentioned I wished there was more I could do to help injured birds and animals that show up at my bird feeders in my back yard. It was suggested that I learn about Reiki. I did’t not know what Reiki was but I went home and signed up for my first class later that day. That was the beginning of my journey into learning about my subtle energy body that is made up of the 7 chakras and the energy layers that make up our Aura. Everything is energy and one of the things that can really help each and every one of us is to work on maintaining a higher vibration every day. Reiki can help with that. It helps clean, clear and align our Chakra system. It helps pull our energy down into our body and fully ground ourself so that we can function better. And it helps release negative energies, ours and other peoples, that we do not need to be carrying around with us any more. This then raises our vibration so that we can start attracting more positive things into our life. Remember like energy attracts like energy. I love Reiki. I love that it is gentle, and noninvasive but incredibly incredibly powerful. Just like the purr of a cat. So Purr of heart Reiki was born. Purr of Heart Reiki offers Reiki sessions for people and pets.

I am a Reiki Master. I have studied with 3 different teachers and became a Reiki Master with each one. My intention was and is to heal myself, continue my spiritual awakening, continue learning and striving towards wisdom and to help other beings whenever I can. I have chosen to offer that help through being a Reiki Practitioner. My style of Reiki is a little bit different. I work above the body in the energy field. My sessions are intuition based, and when directed, I pull in animal, nature, fairy and crystal energies to help with the clearing of your chakras and energy layers of your aura. I also offer Reiki Classes.

So if you are ever in need of an energy clearing or tune up please come see me. My rates for people are $90 for one hour and for pets $90 for one hour/$55 for 35 min.
