I have to be honest… I am exhausted by the constant battle between men and women.

Every day it seems like another post about who suffers more, who is worse, who contributes more, who is failing more, why marriage is terrible, why relationships don’t work, why men are the problem, why women are the problem.

No one owns the corner market on suffering.

We are all beautifully human.

We all carry wounds, fears, disappointments, hopes, and the desire to be loved, understood, and valued.

What if we spent less time keeping score and more time healing?

What if we focused on accountability instead of blame?

What if we created spaces where people could learn, grow, repair, and become healthier versions of themselves?

The truth is, we need each other.

Families need healthy men and healthy women.
Communities need healthy men and healthy women.
Children need healthy men and healthy women.

We accomplish far more together than we ever will standing on opposite sides of a battlefield we created ourselves.

And if you are not in spaces that support your emotional and mental well-being, remember this:

You are not a tree.

Move.

Find people who value transparency.
Find people who practice respect.
Find people who encourage growth.
Find people who are committed to healing.

The division is loud, but healing is still possible.

Let’s build more of that.

Life has been happening.

Not the social media version of life.
The real version.

The kind that asks you to make difficult decisions, show up for people you love, navigate uncertainty, pursue goals that scare you, and continue growing while carrying responsibilities.

I’ve learned that growth isn’t always loud.

Sometimes growth is a quiet decision.
A boundary.
A risk.
A new beginning.
A chapter ending.
A dream finally receiving your attention.

Give yourself credit for the growth that no one else can see.

Some of your greatest victories will never make headlines, but they will change the trajectory of your life.

Keep going.

The weight is real. So is your capacity to carry it.

🌿✨ Happy Mother’s Day ✨🌿

Today we honor the women who carry so much—
the mothers, grandmothers, bonus moms, grieving mothers, hopeful mothers, spiritual mothers, and the women who mother others simply through love, presence, and sacrifice.

Motherhood is not perfection.
It is labor in every form:
the emotional labor, the mental load, the silent prayers, the sleepless nights, the worry, the nurturing, the holding together of things no one else sees.

To the women who have poured from cups that were often empty…
who kept showing up while healing themselves…
who carried generations of pain and still chose love…

We see you.

And to the mothers who are grieving today—whether grieving a child, a mother, the relationship you wish you had, or the version of yourself you lost while surviving—there is space for your heart here too.

May today remind you that you are more than what you produce for others.
You are worthy of rest.
Worthy of softness.
Worthy of care.
Worthy of being poured into too.

💛 With love,
The Ego Trip

The Capacity Code™

Some weeks ask more of us than we expected.

Grief and gratitude.
Conflict and connection.
Pressure and progress.

All existing at the same time.

This week was a reminder that capacity isn’t about having a light load…

It’s about how we carry what life places in our hands.

With awareness.
With intention.
With grace.

Even in the middle of difficult conversations,
tight schedules,
and emotional weight…

there is still space to pause,
to breathe,
to notice what is still good.

To find a moment of peace.
To slow down long enough to smell the flowers.
To recognize that even the hard moments are shaping us—

not breaking us.

Growth doesn’t always feel gentle.
But it can still be meaningful.

This is The Capacity Code™.

Repair.
Reclaim.
Rise.

Before the world gets my attention… I give it to myself.

Every morning, I start with gratitude.
At least 5 things… sometimes big, sometimes small.

I pray.
I set my intentions.
I remind myself who I am and how I want to move through the day.

Because life will life.
Unexpected things will happen.
Emotions will come and go.

But when you start your day rooted in gratitude…
you don’t get shaken as easily.

You remember:
There is still good.
There is still purpose.
There is still something to be thankful for.

This is how I protect my peace.
This is how I stay aligned.

✨ What’s one thing you’re grateful for today?
