I have to be honest… I am exhausted by the constant battle between men and women.
Every day it seems like another post about who suffers more, who is worse, who contributes more, who is failing more, why marriage is terrible, why relationships don’t work, why men are the problem, why women are the problem.
No one owns the corner market on suffering.
We are all beautifully human.
We all carry wounds, fears, disappointments, hopes, and the desire to be loved, understood, and valued.
What if we spent less time keeping score and more time healing?
What if we focused on accountability instead of blame?
What if we created spaces where people could learn, grow, repair, and become healthier versions of themselves?
The truth is, we need each other.
Families need healthy men and healthy women.
Communities need healthy men and healthy women.
Children need healthy men and healthy women.
We accomplish far more together than we ever will standing on opposite sides of a battlefield we created ourselves.
And if you are not in spaces that support your emotional and mental well-being, remember this:
You are not a tree.
Move.
Find people who value transparency.
Find people who practice respect.
Find people who encourage growth.
Find people who are committed to healing.
The division is loud, but healing is still possible.
Let’s build more of that.
