Today, ✨Sensory Wellness: The Art and Science of Thriving ✨ is released!

🌞This book grew from the quiet moments that happen before words. 🌜The pause before escalation. The breath before tears. The subtle cues that tell us the nervous system is asking for support.

It was written to give language to experiences many families feel but struggle to name. 😞When we understand that overwhelm often begins as sensory input rather than personal failure, everything begins to shift. 😌

We respond earlier. We recover more gently. Our homes feel steadier. 💛

If this work has supported you within our therapy spaces, I hope this book supports you beyond them. 🫶

✨Sensory Wellness and the Reflection Journal ✨are both available now on Amazon and Barnes & Noble!

What an incredible evening.

More than 700 people joined us and every seat was filled. We are deeply grateful to everyone who came together for such a meaningful night of learning, understanding, and connection.

It was an honor to share this space with the remarkable Dr. Temple Grandin. Moments like this remind us how powerful community can be when people gather with curiosity, openness, and a shared desire to grow.

We especially loved meeting so many of you in person. It was a joy to share Sensory Wellness: The Art and Science of Thriving and the Sensory Wellness Reflection Journal, and to connect with so many thoughtful members of our community.

Thank you for being part of such a special evening for Robyn (our Executive Director and Author of Sensory Wellness: The Art and Science of Thriving).

Experiences like this reflect what we believe in deeply: building spaces where learning, connection, and understanding can flourish.

P.S. Please also follow her author page for future book signing events. We always enjoy the opportunity to connect with you!

One week from today, ✨Sensory Wellness: The Art and Science of Thriving ✨ will be released into the world.

This book reflects years of listening to families, observing patterns in therapy spaces, and learning what happens when we pause long enough to notice the body.

At its heart is a gentle shift. Instead of asking, “What is wrong with me?” we begin asking, “What is my body perceiving?” 🤔

That question softens shame. It builds curiosity. 🤔It reminds us that sensation often comes before emotion. ☝️

When we begin there, we respond earlier. We regulate sooner. We experience ourselves with greater compassion. 🫶

If this message resonates, I would be honored for you to join me in this work!

Sensationally,
Robyn 💫

We are honored to share that our Founder and Executive Director, Robyn Chu, will be attending a very special event headlined by Dr. Temple Grandin. ✨

Dr. Temple Grandin is a world-renowned scientist, speaker, and advocate whose work has profoundly shaped how the world understands autism and different kinds of minds.

Many of you may know her from her widely viewed TED Talk and from the decades she has spent helping families, educators, and professionals approach neurodivergence with greater clarity and respect. Her voice has inspired hundreds of thousands of people around the globe.

During this evening presentation, Dr. Grandin will share personal experiences, practical strategies, and research-based insights on autism, learning differences, and supporting social, academic, and independent living skills. Her work continues to expand understanding and create meaningful change across communities.

Robyn will be present as well, with a table in the back of the hall, bringing copies of Sensory Wellness: The Art and Science of Thriving. Following Dr. Grandin’s talk, during the Q&A and book signing portion of the evening, we would love for you to stop by, meet Robyn, and have your book signed.

If you are planning to attend, we encourage you to register soon, as seating is limited.

Evenings like this remind us how important it is to continue learning from one another. When we deepen our understanding of sensory experience and different ways of perceiving the world, we help build communities that are steadier, more compassionate, and more inclusive. 💛

If you are an experienced therapist, you probably still love the work itself. 🫶

What becomes heavy is everything around it.

✅ The shifting schedules.
✅ The expanding caseload.
✅ The administrative weight.
✅ The feeling of holding it all together quietly.

We built Growing Healthy Seasons differently.
Clinically led.

✅ Team supported.
✅ Thoughtfully scheduled.
✅ Grounded in mentorship and professional respect.

This is not about leaving your profession.
It is about practicing in an environment that protects it.

If you have been quietly wondering whether something more sustainable exists, it does.

We see you. We hear you. And together, we grow. 🤎

🎙️Preorders for Sensory Wellness are now open. 📌

If you have ever found yourself holding everything together for everyone else, quietly pushing through exhaustion, or wondering why everyday life feels harder than it should, I want to begin by saying this gently: nothing is wrong with you. 🫶

So often what we label as stress or burnout begins as sensory overload. Your nervous system has been carrying more than it was meant to hold without pause. 😓

✨ Sensory Wellness: The Art and Science of Thriving ✨ was written as an invitation to notice earlier. To recognize the tightness in your shoulders before frustration rises. To sense the shift in your breathing before overwhelm takes over. When we understand what the body is perceiving, we regain choice. And with choice comes steadiness.

The ✨ Sensory Wellness Reflection Journal ✨ is available alongside the book for those who want support integrating this awareness into daily life.

If this work has supported your family, I hope this book carries it gently into your home.
