Our May Reiki sessions are centered around burnout, rest, and self-care. Burnout is something many of us experience at some point in our lives, especially when we spend so much time caring for everyone else.

Today, I wanted to share the “Root, Rise, and Rest” check-in that we practice during our Reiki shares and one-on-one sessions.

Root: Where are you right now?
Notice your breath. Notice where your body is holding tension. On a scale of 1–5, how does your body feel today?

Rise: What’s happening in your mind?
Are your thoughts feeling productive, calm, overwhelmed, or spiraling? Give it a name without judgment.

Rest: Soul check-in.
What brought you even a small moment of peace, comfort, or joy today?

These gentle pauses can help us reconnect with ourselves before burnout takes us further away from what we need. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in survival mode and would like to book a Reiki session, feel free to message me here for an appointment.
