Truths about overwhelm that no one wants to hear…
1️⃣You’re not as good at multitasking as you think
Research shows multitasking doesn’t help you get more done; it only spreads your focus thinner and increases stress.
2️⃣Taking on too much won’t make you more successful or more liked
The achievement and approval you’re chasing doesn’t come from diluting your attention and energy. Productivity does not = worth or success.
3️⃣You can’t control everything
Trying to control what’s out of your hands is a losing battle. Learning to let go more is key to healing the nervous system and relieving stress.
4️⃣Procrastination only makes it worse
Putting things off only makes the workload heavier, creating a feeling of dread that makes everything feel more urgent and impossible.
5️⃣You most likely need help with boundaries
