Introducing Shandy Corcoran, R.N.!
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from The University of Memphis and bring over nine years of hands-on clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I began my nursing career on a hospital telemetry unit, where I spent 3.5 years caring for patients with complex cardiac, pulmonary, and renal conditions. I then transitioned to an outpatient cardiac catheterization lab, where I worked for 5.5 years, deepening my expertise in cardiac care and procedural nursing.
For the past 16 years, I dedicated my time to raising a family, while continuing to apply my nursing knowledge within my community—supporting family, friends, and neighbors with health education and informal care. Now, with both children in college, I’m excited to return to professional nursing and have recently joined Medi Slim. I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow with the Medi Slim team, support clients in achieving their health goals, and maintain a balanced life that includes hiking, biking, kayaking, traveling, reading, and crafting.
