A notary public is an officer appointed and commissioned by the governor and authorized to administer oaths, to take acknowledgments, and perform other duties specified by law. A notary is an official, unbiased witness. Notary fees are $5 per each paper-based notarial act performed. These fees are in compliance with the Commonwealth of Virginia. A Notary Loan Signing Agent is a Notary who guides someone through the signing of their loan closing papers, making sure they sign each document properly, and then notarizing the documents that require a notarization. They are often Mobile Notaries who are sent to the borrower's home or office with the loan papers, saving them a trip to the title company during office hours. also offers electronic outgoing and incoming faxing for $0.30 per page. PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel and other file formats are acceptable.
