I love hosting these sauna pop ups. Truly the definition of Type 2 fun.

For the uninitiated
Type 2 fun = kind of hard in the moment, awesome later
Type 3 fun = not fun during, not fun after

I’ll admit I was slightly worried with the cold and the rain that we were flirting with Type 3 territory. But you all showed up, got steamy, got chilly, laughed through it, and made it very solidly Type 2.

Cold. Wet. Dark. Big grins. Exactly how it’s supposed to be.

Thanks to everyone who came out and leaned in. And shoutout to for capturing the time lapse and for being the best spot in Richmond to host a pop up. Be on the lookout for our next one.

Today marks ONE YEAR of Sauna Plunge RVA rolling into backyards, riverbanks, and events across Richmond—and what a ride it’s been.

Shoutout #1: RVA’s small business community. From owners who hired me, to those who coached me, to folks who just straight-up cheered me on—it’s been humbling. Y’all made it clear this city wants to see each other win.

Just finished setting up the sauna + plunges outside the groom’s Airbnb tonight so it’s all ready for the morning 🙌 Honestly, this might be my favorite wedding-day kickoff for 3 reasons:

1️⃣ Sweat out the rehearsal dinner cocktails.
2️⃣ While the girls are getting their makeup done, the guys can do more than watch ESPN highlights—get in, sweat, plunge, bond.
