We sure had some great weather for New Year’s Eve cattle feeding today, downpours and 38 degrees. Be sure and make your resolution to eat more beef! 🥩

Feel like we haven’t posted here for so long! We are still grinding away and feeding cattle! Had to take a pic of one from our last group at the processor, they looked so nice and uniform, 3 head on the rail were right at 1000 # that’s going to make some steak!

As I washed dishes this evening and let myself soak in the noises of our home…..one little chattering to herself, the other spewing all the math problems he could think of while playing basketball in the kitchen; I reflected on the days my heart longed to raise crops, cows and kids.

It’s not for the dollar, not for the thanks, but simply because we believe. We believe in the need to care for this land, we believe in raising a product to nourish bodies, we believe in the future generation.

Our “why” always trumps the bad days and makes the good days all the sweeter. What a life❤️

👋 Checking in to let you know we are still here!! Life has not slowed since calving season, here is what we've been up to this summer!

🥩 We've delivered beef monthly and enjoyed spending time with new and return customers each month
🍔We have 30+ calves on the feedlot right now preparing to nourish families the rest of this year and in to 2024
🥩 We've travelled and camped a bit, thanks to the help of a few awesome farm kids for being there to feed so we could take time away as a family
🍔 We have retail cuts of beef on hand -call or stop by the house if you need something specific or aren't ready to commit to a quarter/half or whole beef
🥩We're working on a designated retail space for you as well as additions/improvements to our feedlot, keeping bovine nutrition, comfort and care a top priority!
🐮 We're gearing up for a few fall calves to be born....who doesn't love babies!

Average Costs (actual cost dependent upon weight of beef and processing fees)
Quarter - $750
Half - $1390
Whole - $2750

Cattle are started on grass and finished on grain. Processing is custom - you pick your cuts, how they are cut and how they are packaged.

🚨 Custom Freezer Beef Available🚨

Due to circumstance changes for the buyer, a whole beef is available for purchase this month, with delivery being early February.

You can buy the whole beef or we will split into halves or mixed quarters.

Pricing per pound of hang-weight:
Quarter: $3.25/pound plus processing fee
Half: $3.15/pound plus processing fee
Whole: $ 3.10/pound processing fee

Custom processing - you pick your cuts, how they’re cut, and how they’re packaged.

Processing done by state inspected Glenville Packing in Bucyrus. Payment due at time of of meat delivery- cash, check, card and Venmo accepted.

Beef is grass fed, grain finished.

Buy bulk now to avoid the anticipated spike in beef prices to hit the grocery stores (again 😩) in 2023!
