It has been a hard few years. Lately, it seems that everyone that I talk to is feeling worried, concerned, anxious or stressed about the state of the world. There are so many worries about money, safety, relationships, housing, education, and job security and the list goes on and on. These negatives can begin to take over and cause overwhelm and chronic stress.
Even when things are stressful, there is still beauty in the world. I challenge you to take one minute a day to
Maybe it is the sunrise or the sunset. Maybe it is the smile on your child's face when they see you, or a text from a friend. Maybe it is your dog or cat that does something so simple it reminds you that all is ok in that moment.
Whatever it might be, that brings a smile to your face this week, take a moment to soak it in. Place your hand on your heart and feel it beating. Take a deep breath and refresh your body.
Take one moment in the day to remind yourself that the simple things are the beautiful things.
